Dr Aman Gupta is the Medical Director, Consultant Pediatrician, Pediatric Rheumatologist, Immunologist & Allergy Specialist. He graduated from Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh. He is an alumnus of PGI, Chandigarh having done his MD Pediatrics (PGI) followed by DM Pediatric Clinical Immunology & Rheumatology from PGI, Chandigarh. He is among the first 5 Pediatricians in India to have this qualification. He gained international experience at the best centres for Pediatric Rheumatology and Immunology in UK. He had been a clinical observer at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, Bristol, UK and the Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, UK. An academician par excellence, he has to his credit more than 50 publications in various national and international medical journals . He has also been invited as a faculty in several medical conferences. He has worked as a Visiting Consultant at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali and Paras Bliss Hospital, Panchkula, before setting up MEDENS, the first 24-hour comprehensive children’s hospital (non-corporate) in Panchkula. His areas of interest include (1) Rheumatic diseases in Children including Kawasaki disease, IgA vasculitis (HSP), Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Juvenile Dermatomyositis (JDM), Macrophage Activation Syndrome, Other connective tissue disorders; (2) Pediatric Asthma and Allergic diseases; (3) Primary Immune Deficiency Disorders; (4) Child nutrition. He started the first dedicated Pediatric Rheumatology and Immunology Hospital in India and the first independent Pediatric Rheumatology and Immunology Clinic in the region (other than government health facility).
